Blaine is not only a great country gospel artist, but a great cowboy friend in Christ! We are so blessed to have Blaine and his lovely wife Paige, as our Christian friends! Blaine played the guitar and sang when the Lord started the Llano Cowboy Church five years ago. His music and testimony are truly blessings. Blaine loves singing and praising the Lord, the cowboy way!  For more information on Blaine, see his web site.

I have been singing in churches all my life! My father is a preacher and he has been the pastor of churches from East Texas to New Mexico! I have sang in the Negro churches in East Texas, across the State of Texas to Southeastern New Mexico.

I was in my twenties when I began singing Waylon and Willie songs in the honky tonks across Texas. I then went through a period of about ten years where music was not part of my life. The Lord kept pulling me back to my gospel roots! I moved from New Mexico back to Texas and began singing in churches once again. I was in a battle with God! I loved country music, but I felt God leading toward gospel music. I moved to Llano, Texas and it all came together for me! Ken Barington had been lead by God to start the Llano Cowboy Church. Ken asked me to sing country gospel music at the services. We were meeting at the Rose, an old dance hall in Llano. We met on the dance floor! I recognized that God was leading from country music to country gospel! The Lord closed a window and threw open a door!

I have a lovely, supportive wife, Paige. We share four children! Josh and his wife Sarah are students at Angelo State University. Josh is a business major and has been called by the Lord to preach. He will enter Seminary after graduation. Taylor Pippenger is a business major at the University of Texas. A.C. Pippenger and Ben Lilly are students at Llano High School. Paige and I stay very busy!

At the age of 48, the Lord has blessed me with the ability to sing and play the guitar. I love to use these God given talents to praise our Lord and Savior! I am in the process of completing my first CD. With the Lord's help, I hope to have the CD completed by the end of February 2007. I am already working on songs for my next CD!

I will travel with the Cross and Spurs Ministry or individually! I would love to come to your church and praise the Lord in song!
