Shirley is a great country gospel recording artist! Shirley has a wonderful voice and loves to use her God-given talents to praise His name. The song that you hear, "Keeper of Dreams", is a beautiful example of Shirley's talent and of her heart! We are so blessed to have Shirley and her husband, Ken, as Christian friends and a part of this ministry.

I want to thank Ken Barington for asking me to be part of this wonderful ministry! I know the Cross and Spurs Ministry is led by the Spirit of the Lord!

I would like to share with you what I feel in my heart about the songs I sing and write. It has been over 20 years since God anointed me to write and sing gospel music. It hasn't always been an easy road to walk. Sometimes I felt like giving up, but through the hard times and the good, the Lord has always brought me through. He never let me lose sight of the dreams He put in my heart! I write that others may want to sing the songs. Now God has made a way for me to get my songs out for others to hear.

Yes, God is truly the "Keeper of Dreams"! I thank the Lord for the many blessings He has given me. I am so thankful for my husband, Ken! I am so thankful for our beautiful family and friends! But most of all, I am so thankful to God for His Son, Jesus Christ and that Jesus gave His all that we might live! Without Jesus there would be no songs to write and without Jesus there would be no songs to sing. He is truly the song that I sing!
